Mineradora Luvio Verde is a Brazilian company with a global presence in the supply of high quality gemstones.Headquartered in Canada with Mining Operations in the city of Campos Verde in the state of Goiás, we work in three extraction mines to be able to meet all the demands of our customers. Emeralds are composed of a rare element, beryllium, found in very small amounts in the earth's crust. The allure of the emerald dates back to ancient times.
They were considered the most valuable gemstones, and some even believed them to possess divine powers. Emeralds have long been hailed as the “Jewel of Kings”. This magnificent gemstone is used in the most diverse scenarios, but the most common is jewelry, which enchants everyone around the world.
Claiton Roberto de Souza is from Ceará by birth and naturalized from Bahia. He arrived in Santa Terezinha on December 31, 1981 to sell nets, but when he arrived in the city, he identified himself with the emerald mining that at the time was still in the municipality of Santa Terezinha. He initially worked at the Fernão Dias and Macaúba mines. After ninety days of service, he has already been promoted to a management position at the mine. He worked as a manager at these companies for 4 years and 9 months, shortly after accepting a job offer at Grupo Ensa (Peneri) where he stayed for 3 years. During this period he also worked actively on behalf of the Campos Verdes emancipation movement. In 1989 he left Grupo Ensa and started working at Mineradora São Paulo in Grupo 66 and 63 where he worked for 3 and a half years. In 1996 he acquired the area where Mineradora Luvio Verde would become, from his former boss Antônio Rosa and began to develop his own project. In 1998, he returned to work at Mineradora São Paulo, where he stayed until mid-2000. From then on, he started trading emeralds, working in the buying and selling area. In 2004, stone extraction began in one of its areas, an extraction that lasted about 2 years. However, the area with the greatest extraction potential was still intact. Preparation works for extraction in the new area were recently completed. Luvio Verde Mining (Canada) is prepared and has the infrastructure to extract, wash and process all the extracted material. Polishing, Appraisals and Safekeeping are being done in Canada. Real estate acquisitions will continue in Canada.
